The Online Casino review
A £50 match, twenty spins on Big Bass Bonanza and a respectable lobby from big-name studios. The offer is fine. The way its terms are written is less fine, and it cost The Online Casino marks.

The offer, in plain terms
New players get a 100% bonus up to £50 plus 20 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza. The listed minimum deposit is £10. The bonus must be wagered ten times within 30 days, and anything the spins win must be wagered ten times within 7 days.
As at its sister site Vegas Mobile, your real balance is played first, and only bets made with bonus funds count towards the requirement. A withdrawal request cancels any active or pending bonus, and deposits made by Skrill or Neteller are excluded.
Where the wording lets it down
Read the terms slowly and a few things stand out. The maximum conversion is given as “from the bonus amount: 50”, with no currency, beside “from free spins: £20”. The £10 minimum deposit appears in the offer details but not in the significant terms themselves. The spin value is not stated at all. And one sentence runs straight into the next without a space. None of this is sinister. But when a player has to guess, the terms have not done their job, and our clarity score reflects that.
Our reading of the conversion line: at most £50 of bonus-derived balance and £20 of spin-derived balance can become withdrawable cash. If that matters to your decision, confirm it in the full T&Cs linked beside the offer.
Who runs The Online Casino
ProgressPlay Limited, Malta-registered, under UK Gambling Commission account 39335, which also covers Vegas Mobile Casino. The welcome offer is “limited to 5 brands within the network”, so if you have already claimed at several ProgressPlay sites you may find yourself ineligible.
The games and support
The operator lists more than 2,000 casino games from studios including Games Global, Playtech, Spinomenal, Light & Wonder and Eyecon. Fluffy Favourites, Solar Queen and The Sweetest: Cash Collect were among the titles we saw, along with live roulette. It is a broad mix.
It is also the only brand in our ranking to state 24/7 live support in the information we captured. We have not tested response times and do not score support for that reason, but it is worth knowing. For payment methods, check the cashier.
What we liked
- Big studios, broad library
- Round-the-clock live support listed
- 10x on bonus and spin winnings
What gave us pause
- Terms missing a currency, a spin value and the minimum deposit
- Seven days for spin winnings
- Withdrawing cancels the bonus
- Only 20 spins
- E-wallet deposits excluded
- Network-wide limit on welcome offers
How to claim
- Register via the link on this page (18+, UK only).
- Set a deposit limit when prompted.
- Deposit £10 or more, avoiding Skrill and Neteller.
- Use the 20 Big Bass Bonanza spins and wager any winnings within 7 days.
- Wager the bonus ten times within 30 days on qualifying games.
The wagering, worked through
Deposit £50 for the full match, and suppose the 20 spins return £3.
| Item | Amount | To wager | Window | Max. conversion |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spin winnings (assumed) | £3 | £30 | 7 days | £20 |
| Matched bonus | £50 | £500 | 30 days | 50 (see above) |
Your £50 deposit is played first and does not count towards the £500. Contribution also varies by game, so £500 of stakes on a game that counts at a reduced rate will not clear it. Check the contribution table in the full terms before choosing what to play.
Verdict
A perfectly serviceable welcome deal let down slightly by terms that read as if they were typed in a hurry.
There is nothing wrong with The Online Casino's welcome offer that a careful edit of its terms wouldn't fix. The library and the stated live support are points in its favour. For now, it scores lower than it might because we value being able to read a bonus without guessing, and here we had to guess more than once.
