Disclosure

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

How this site makes money, and what that does and does not change about what you read here.

The arrangement

Spin Ledger is funded by affiliate commission. When you follow a link from this site to a casino and open an account, and in most cases make a deposit, the casino may pay us a fee. Links that can earn us money are marked as sponsored in the page code and sit inside blocks labelled “Ad”. It costs you nothing, and the offer you receive is the same as if you had gone to the casino directly.

Where commercial interests show up

We would rather be plain about this than pretend the money has no effect at all.

  • We only list casinos we have a commercial arrangement with. The ranking is therefore not a survey of the whole UK market, and a casino we have not listed is not necessarily worse than one we have.
  • The ranking on our home page is labelled as advertising for that reason.
  • Where two casinos score similarly, the order we present them in is our editorial call.

Where they do not

  • A casino cannot pay for a higher score, a better review or the removal of criticism.
  • The commission rate is not part of our scoring method.
  • We print every offer's significant terms in full, including the parts that make it look less attractive.
  • Every listed casino holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, checked by us on the public register.

Advertising standards

Gambling marketing in the UK is covered by the CAP Code, enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority, and by the Gambling Commission's rules on fair and open promotions. We try to write within both: no appeal to under-18s, no suggestion that gambling brings success or solves money problems, no false urgency, and no offer shown without its key conditions. If you think we have fallen short, tell us.
